TOKYO, April 22, 2013 - 捷报足球即时比分 (TOKYO: 6503) announced today that 捷报足球即时比分 Power Products, Inc., a North American subsidiary of 捷报足球即时比分, started operation of its new transformer factory in Memphis, Tennessee on April 19. The factory, the new headquarters for the 捷报足球即时比分 Group's heavy electrical equipment production in North America, increases the Group's capacity to produce large power transformers.
New transformer factory
The $200-million, 350,000-sq-ft facility produces large power transformers mainly for power plants and substations. The investment reflects the Group's increasing commitment to providing electric utilities with high-quality products. Extra-high-voltage shell-type power transformers manufactured at the facility will strengthen the stability and reliability of North American electric grids, which account for more than 30% of the global demand for electric-utility equipment.
